据了解，GaGa和御用制作人Redone为Cher这次的新专辑创作了一首单曲《The Greatest Thing》。有趣的是，Cher曾在自己的官网大赞GaGa并坦言渴望将来能有机会Gaga合唱一曲，其中说道：“我非常期待有机会能跟GaGa一起唱歌，她给了我一首非常棒的歌曲，我简直不知道如何感激，这首歌叫做《The Greatest Thing》。”

而这次Cher终于如愿以偿，昨日也在Twitter上证实了这个消息，其中写道：“等不及和GaGa献唱这首《The Greatest Thing》，她将为我的新专辑认真筹备着。”此后，GaGa也在Twitter上回应道：“或者我们可以为这首单曲进行混音，而对我来说你才是最棒的事物。”

据悉，尽管Cher这次的录音室大碟细节还在被严谨的保密中，可是一些信息还是通过Cher口中被爆了出来。Cher早前曾说过：“这次新专辑将是会非常惊喜，而专辑计划在今年内发行。”

但是，Cher和Gaga合作的这首歌曲原本计划将雪藏到底，因为Gaga不太喜欢这支作品，Cher也表示对歌曲失望。
