現代
1丈=10尺。今3尺=1米，而明清以前各有不同。所以，今1丈=10/3米≈3.33333333.......米。一尺等于10/3分米即3.3333...分米，一寸等于10/3厘米或0.1尺。
古代
附中國古代一尺的長度（根據進制可換算）：漢代一尺等于23.1厘米，魏晉一尺等于24.12厘米，隋唐一尺等于26.7厘米，而宋元一尺等于30.72厘米。
